Description
Dante Inner Proof Cigar Label. An eleven-color lithographed 10" x 7" inner proof label with a stunningly detailed portrait of a Dante Alighieri flanked by smaller vignettes of angels and devils drawn from his story The Devine Comedy. He is depicted in a red hat and cloak trimmed in green stripes. The laurel wreath on his head is trimmed with gold as are the crossed feathers beneath his portrait.
