Description
Yankton Beaded Hide Bowcase and Quiver, c. 1875. The case measures 34"; the quiver 24". Complete with a bow and six metal-tipped arrows. Thread-sewn, both are artfully beaded and fringed on both ends with each opening also trim in black trade cloth laced with hide strips. There's minute loss of glass seed beads in scattered areas, along with minor handling stains and tears, else this piece is in very good condition.
