Description

Geronimo: A Very Fine Example of This Classic Cabinet Photo. Taken by Irwin, Chickasha, I.T., it pictures him with the fierceness the public expected. Geronimo is pulling from his belt a now rare Texas Dance revolver. In period pencil on verso: "Geronimo chief of the notorious Arizona Apache Indians, now a prisoner of war at Ft. Sill." Exceptionally clean example, with just a couple of bits of trivial light staining in the border around the photo, noted for strict accuracy. 5.125" x 7.25".
