RARE EARLY ROOTBEER COUPON GRAPHIC HIRE’S ADVERTISING BOY. We’ve never seen this coupon before. Great graphics and in very good to excellant condition. This coupon offers a free drink of Hire’s Rootbeer at the Fountain. The back shows a nice picture of the gathering of the grains to make the rootbeer. Coca Cola made use of the coupon as early as 1901. This piece appears to be a bit later but certainly around the turn of the century. It is 3 inches by 1 ¾ inches and shows only wear on the edges. Very clean and bold color graphics. I’ve never seen a Hires coupon before.Very rare.
