Description

Aviation Souvenir Celluloid Button. Made for what is considered the first aviation contest, this 6" large celluloid button pictures many of the flying machines from 1910. The crowds that gathered for this event were in awe of the flying machines and their pilots- Lincoln Beachey, Glenn Curtiss, and Charles Hamilton as well as notable French aviators who took part. The button in yellow and blue hues makes a dramatic souvenir and is in excellent condition.
