Mrs. Andrew Jackson Dictated Letter Signed, "Rachel Jackson,", two pages and address panel, 8" x 10", The Hermitage, June 1, 1827, to Mrs. H. D. Morgan, Washington, Pennsylvania. A purely social letter to a friend that is not in Rachel Jackson's hand. Toned paper, fine condition. Rachel Jackson (1767-1828) sadly died just before her husband took office and thus was never First Lady. From the collection of Henry E. Luhrs.Auction Info
