Description
Gemini 4 Crew-Signed Navy Recovery Ship Cover. An airmail philatelic cover, 6.5" x 3.625", cancelled on the U.S.S. Wasp on June 7, 1965, with the rubber-stamped Navy Recovery Force cachet at left. It is signed "James A McDivitt/ GT-IV CDR", "Edward H White II" (1930-1967), and "J. W. Conger" (the ship's captain). The original address has been covered with a blank mailing label that just touches the top of the White signature, otherwise very fine condition.Auction Info
