Description
Apollo 8 Flown CMP Checklist Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot James Lovell, Certified and Signed. This 125+ page 6" x 8" Command Module Pilot Checklist book is printed on cardstock and bound with binder rings between two heavyweight covers. Printed on the front cover is "PART NO. SKB32100028-201" and "S/N 1003". Lovell has certified and signed the front: "James Lovell Flown". This is a book that was very important to the success of the mission; it includes star lists, alarm codes, navigational information, abort procedures, loss of communications return to earth procedures, systems management, and emergency procedures. There are several printed charts and hundreds of handwritten notations throughout. A real piece of history from man's first trip to the moon; these are seldom offered in their complete state.
