Alexander Fleming Autograph Letter Signed, Accompanied by a Printed Christmas Card Signed by Amalia Fleming. One page, 5" x 7.5", London, December 5, 1952, on letterhead from the Wright-Fleming Institute of London. In the letter, the discoverer of penicillin thanks a correspondent for sending an article about microbiologist Selman Waksman, who had just won the Nobel Prize. Amalia Fleming, the wife of the Scottish biologist, has signed the undated Christmas card, "and kind regards / Alex and Amalia." Both items are matted separately.
