Description

George Rogers Clark Autograph Note Signed "G R Clark". One page with docketing, 7.75" x 3", September 5, 1781, to Major Walls. It reads:"I have a point [sic] of wine for a sick person I am yours from". George Rogers Clark of Virginia was the elder brother of explorer William Clark and was instrumental in securing the Northwest Territories for the United States. His autograph is quite scarce and desirable. Light overall browning, smoothed folds. Very good condition.
