Mark Twain. Hospital Lot of
Huckleberry Finn
First Editions.
Webster, 1885. Various states of the first edition. Four in publisher's cloth [one rebacked] and one in half leather. Worn and some incomplete. Poor or better condition and sold with all faults. Two appear to be first printings ("Him and another man" listed at page 88 and "with the was" on page 57). One of these two copies is missing the title page, and the other has most of the prelims loose. A third copy is also likely a first printing, as it has the page 57 error, but it's missing the list of illustrations altogether (xiii-xvii), so the point about "Him and another man" is moot. All three of these copies are in green cloth. The last two (one in blue cloth and the one in half leather) are second printings or later. (Total: 5 Items)
