was a 150 folio-plate undertaking by John James Audubon and his son, John Woodhouse Audubon. While many of the later prints were drawn by Audubon's son, as his health was declining, this one is by John James Audubon.
The animal prints in
Viviparous Quadrupeds
are considered the finest published in America.
