Light thumbsoiling and a few small spots of dampstaining in margins, not affecting text or images. Full-page illustrations opposite each chapter. With a handwritten pencil signature across author's name on title page, "Captain F. E. S. Adair," though likely a library notation and not the author's actual signature. Generally, a good copy of this exceedingly scarce title.
