Description
Apollo 12 Flown Earth Orbital Chart Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot Richard Gordon, with Signed COA. A 39" x 9" color lithographed earth map glued around a 19.5" x 9" board with a removable translucent plastic overlay showing pre-printed orbits. This chart shows the orbital track for the initial orbits prior to the translunar injection and also indicates splash points in Gordon's hand for early returns. At the lower edge are printed the part and serial numbers: "SKB32100058-201 S/N 1012". Shows minor wear from use, otherwise fine condition. From the Steven R. Belasco Collection of Space Memorabilia.Included with this lot is a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Gordon stating, in full: "I hereby certify that this Flown Earth Orbital Track Chart is from my personal collection and was flown aboard and used by me to navigate the Apollo 12 mission."
