Publisher's full black cloth, front board and spine stamped in red. In the original publisher's dust jacket with the original promotional wrap-around band. Cloth spine a bit sunned, some light rubbing and thumbsoiling to boards. Jacket spine barely sunned. A near fine copy in a bright, fine dust jacket. A Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone.[Together with:] M. G. Eberhart. While the Patient Slept. New York: The Crime Club, Inc., 1930. First edition. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper: "To / Norman Nolan / with all best / as ever / Mignon G. Eberhart / August 9-1974." Octavo. [xii], 313, [1, blank], [2, ads] pages. Publisher's full black cloth, front board and spine stamped in red. In the original publisher's dust jacket with the original promotional wrap-around band. Cloth spine a bit sunned, some light rubbing and thumbsoiling to boards. Previous owner's signature on front free endpaper above Eberhart's inscription. Jacket spine barely sunned. Some rubbing and creasing to jacket. Very good.
Both of these novels were adapted into films (1938 and 1935, respectively).
