Description

Apollo 8: Crew-Signed Launch Cover. A philatelic cover featuring an elaborate monocolor cachet, bearing a 6¢ "Flag" stamp with a pictorial machine cancelation at Kennedy Space Center on December 21, 1968. Signed in black inks: "Frank Borman", "James Lovell" (written partially over the typed address), and "Bill Anders". The felt tip Anders signature is as nice as you are likely to find. Excellent. Included, for purposes of display or matting, is a glossy color print of the crew in white spacesuits, pre-flight. From the Family Collection of Jacques Bracke.
