A 44-page book, 8" x 10.5", an iconic NASA/MSC-issued commemorative booklet marking the first American orbital spaceflight. The staple-bound book features a bold blue cover design with Earth graphic and Glenn's visage and contains photographic and textual documentation of the mission. Also included is an Artcraft-cacheted First Day Cover for the 4ยข "Project Mercury" stamp canceled February 20, 1962, the launch date, at Cape Canaveral. Signed boldly in blue felt tip: "John Glenn".
