First edition, thus; originally published in The Panhandle-Plains Historical Review in 1928.Historian J. Evetts Haley records the firsthand recollections of Charles Goodnight, the legendary Texas Ranger, cattleman, and frontier figure, as related directly to Haley late in Goodnight's life. A very scarce offprint, with only two institutional copies listed by OCLC.
Condition: Lightly toned with minor edgewear to the wrappers; very light creasing to the inner pages.
