Currier & Ives. A Midnight Race on the Mississippi. New York: Currier & Ives, 1860. Hand-colored lithograph, 30 x 22 inches (sight), handsomely matted and framed to an overall size of 45 x 37 inches. A classic Currier & Ives print, drawn by Fanny Palmer, depicting the steamboats Natchez (left) and Eclipse (right) racing on the Lower Mississippi by moonlight.

Condition: Not examined out of frame. Lightly toned; very light foxing in right margin.
