Description

Andrew Jackson: Scallop Top Ship's Passport Signed. 10 1/2" x 14 1/2", [Washington, D.C.], September 1, 1833. In part: "Suffer the Ship Marcus of Fairhaven....To Pass with her Company Passengers goods and merchandize without any hinderance, seizure or molestation the said ship....". Signed by both President Jackson and Secretary of State Edward Livingston.

Condition: folds and light wear. Jackson's signature large, but a bit light, Livingston's signature light. Overall presents well.
