Abraham Lincoln: "Young Lincoln" Scott Rogers Bronze Sculpture. 22" x 9 1/2" x 26" bronze sculpture titled, "Young Lincoln" by Scott Rogers. Limited edition of 30. During President Trump's first term, Trump proposed a sculpture garden to honor the "great figures of America's history". Rogers was asked by the U.S. Department of the Interior to submit concepts for the project. He submitted 5 maquettes for consideration, in which one was of this sculpture. When asked about why he chose to portray Lincoln in this manner, Roger stated because he wanted "to make him 'approachable'. A gentle man...on a gentle horse."Condition: Excellent.
