Description

Abraham Lincoln: Brady Single Portrait Ribbon. 3 1/8" x 7 1/2" silk ribbon with 1/2 length portrait. Published by J.C. Buttre of New York for the 1860 campaign, it features the famous Cooper Union photograph of Lincoln by Matthew Brady, O-17, with facsimile signature, "A. Lincoln" below.

Condition: Excellent, with just a few minor creases, light paperclip indention at top, and ink notation at bottom right of verso. A gorgeous example with high sheen, and one of the nicest specimens we have ever handled!
