Gemini 12: Crew-Signed Launch Cover [and] U.S.S. Wasp Recovery Cover. A pair of commemorative philatelic covers honoring the Gemini 12 mission, each signed by both mission astronauts: "Buzz Aldrin" and "James Lovell" in black inks. As follows.
Launch: A philatelic cover with a colorful SpaceCraft cachet by Swanson, Scott #U546 World's Fair New York 5¢ stamped envelope canceled at Cape Canaveral on November 11, 1966. Signed as above. Original informative stiffener card included. Tiny address. Excellent.
Splashdown: A philatelic cover with a stamped "U.S. NAVY Recovery Force" cachet bearing a 5¢ "Flag" stamp, machine canceled aboard the "Wasp" on November 15, 1966. Signed as above. Address label. Excellent. From the Family Collection of Jacques Bracke.
