Description
Westway Models BAC One-Eleven Executive Display Model, British Aircraft Corporation Livery. A rare professional display model of the BAC One-Eleven (BAC 1-11), produced by the esteemed British maker Westway Models and finished in British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) house colors. The livery features a white fuselage with bold red cheatline and deep blue vertical stabilizer emblazoned with "BAC ONE-ELEVEN" titling, an iconic presentation scheme used by the manufacturer during the aircraft's introduction to global carriers. Measuring an overall 15" x 15" x 8", the acrylic model retains its original chrome-finished metal tripod stand, a signature mounting style associated with Westway's premium display pieces. Models produced by Westway are especially prized among advanced aviation collectors, as the firm was considered the premier supplier of executive airline models during the Jet Age.
