Apollo 12 Presentation Grouping, Including a Flown Kapton Foil Segment from Yankee Clipper and a USS Hornet Recovery Cover with Letter of Transmittal from Swim Team Officer in Charge. Also, a Medallic Art Bronze Medal and Crew Patch. Included, as follows.(1) A 1.25" x 1" piece of Kapton foil from the CM, as taken by Robbie Robertson of Swim Team #1. In his letter sending it to a friend, he says: "I thought you'd also like a piece of the pure gold [sic] foil which surrounds the command module and acts as a heat reflector during re-entry... Keep it under your hat tho- we weren't supposed to take any!"
(2) A #7 Captain's Cover canceled aboard the USS Hornet on the day of the event; it features the 1969 "First Man on the Moon" 10¢ airmail stamp and is signed by five recovery team personnel
(3) A 2.5" solid bronze high-relief medal from Medallic Arts.
(4) A 4" souvenir crew patch.
