Description

Bob and Cole Younger Signed Card. 3 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches (sight), encapsulated to an overall size of 4 x 3 inches. Signed at the top "Cole Younger" and, below, "Bob Younger." Includes a COA from PSA confirming authenticity of the Cole Younger signature.

These signatures were almost certainly written while the Youngers served out their life sentences for participation in the fabled Northfield Bank Robbery on September 7, 1876. Bob Younger died of tuberculosis in prison on September 16, 1889. Cole was released on parole in 1901, and died in his hometown of Lee's Summit, Missouri, in 1916.

Condition: Lightly toned with a small stain at the left edge. Remnants from previous mounting on verso.
