[Samuel Clemens] Mark Twain: Twice-Signed Cabinet Card. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" on photographer's mount; no place; March 23, 1889. Portrait of Twain facing right, taken by Sarony c. 1884 in New York. Signed on verso, "Truly yours / S. L. Clemens" at center with second signature, "Mark Twain / March 23/89" diagonally across first signature. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity by PSA.Condition: Minor toning with some soiling and edgewear. Pencil notations in unknown hand on verso.
