Description
Batwing Leather Chaps by H. H. Heiser of Denver, Colorado. The border tooled hand-stamped belt measures 30" at the smallest and up to 43½" at the longest. The full leg chaps are 35" from the top of the belt to the bottom of the chaps with three chips on the back of each leg and seven German silver conchos on the front of each leg. The tongue billet is secured with a rivet with "HHH" as well as being stitched. The chaps are marked "H. H. Heiser/ Maker/ Denver, Co." and the numbers "660/ 33" on back of the tongue billet. This is a fine pair of chaps from the Heiser Saddlery Company, one of the best known saddlers of the old west.Auction Info
