Description
Winchester M1873 Rifle, #418857B, Manufactured 1892. 24" octagonal barrel, half magazine, caliber .38-40. All metal generally smooth and gray with just a few very minor areas of salt and peppering, and a few dents on the lever. Loading gate retains most of the original bright blue. Mechanically fine, excellent bore, very good markings. Wood very good with just a few minor dents/ scratches. The butt stock shows a very minor 2" hairline where it joins the frame, and the remains of an old varnish finish. A clean attractive 1873 rifle in a desirable form.Auction Info
