Description

William McKinley: Eclipse of Bryan 1¼" Pin. Long considered a sign of the future, the eclipse of 1900 gave campaign marketers a chance to promote their candidate. Here, in a 1¼" size, McKinley is shown eclipsing Bryan. Maintaining a high celluloid gloss, we mention for accuracy the very light foxing on the top reverse rim which barely encroaches on the front of the design. Despite its minor problem, this design is highly sought by collectors and is a fine example.
