Description
William McKinley: Group of Six Ribbon Badges Including Three Inaugurals. The largest, and arguably the most attractive of the group is an Inaugural badge measuring 2 1/2" x 9" with two suspended celluloids attached. One pictures McKinley & Hobart, the second is a colorful image of the familiar Native American portrait used on many a Tammany badge. This elaborately adorned ribbon is inscribed, "Republican Indian League".Condition: The first Inaugural ribbon pictured on the far left has obvious loss with loose pieces along the extreme bottom edge with numerous separations in the blue silk fabric backing. Other examples exhibit light stains and modest wear, but are generally in fine condition.
