Group of Three Revolutionary War-Era Documents, Signed by Moses Emerson, Nicholas Fish, and Selby Harner. Including a receipt for a shipment of pork during the Siege of Boston, discharge orders for a North Carolinian soldier, and an autograph letter signed from one of the original members of the Society of Cincinnati.

Moses Emerson Clipped Receipt Signed ("Moses Emerson") Likely during the Siege of Boston. One page, 1.5" x 7.25", Medford; August 15, 1775. A receipt clipped from a longer document acknowledging a shipment of pork from "Mr. Commy. Gene. Trumbull... for the use of the Army." Docketed.

[American Revolution]. Selby Harner Autograph Document Signed ("Selby Harney") Discharging Maltire Turner from Service. One page, 4.25 x 6.25, no place [North Carolina]; February 18, 1780. A brief document discharging Maltire Turner from service, being unfit for duty. Docketed. With brief receipt, presumably signed by Maltire (one page, 8.75" x 5.75, no place; no date).

[American Revolution]. Nicholas Fish Autograph Letter Signed (Nich. Fish). One page of a bifolium, 8" x 6.25", Schenectady [New York]; April 17, 1781. A brief letter requesting updates on "the subject of Mr. Sleght's application to the Legislature". Docketed. Fish was a highly-regarded participant in the Revolution. Among a lifetime of service and leadership, he is documented as having served as aide-de-camp to General Scott, participated in the battles of Saratoga and Monmouth and the Virginia and Yorktown campaigns, and is listed among the original members of the Society of Cincinnati, serving as president for two terms.

Condition: Minor chipping to edges. Light scattered foxing and soiling. Lightly creased along old folds. Nicholas Fish letter with light dampstaining and offsetting. Selby Harner document heavily worn; split along folds and with paper loss to edges and lower left corners affecting text, splits repaired on the verso with archival tape.
