A complete listing of 1839 Texas law, including colonization and naturalization laws, offered in Spanish and English on facing pages (Spanish on the left, English on the right), as well as the full text of the Texas Constitution, also in Spanish and English. In total, it contains over four hundred individual decrees, many of which are not located in any other volumes. Eberstadt calls it "[a]n indispensable collection." Contains the first complete translation into English of the Mexican laws relating to Texas.

Condition: Calf is slightly scuffed. Text dampstained and browned.
