Description
Typed Letter Signed by Albert Einstein. One page, 4to, written in German on Einstein's embossed Princeton, NJ letterhead, April 3, 1945. Brief letter to Erich Cohn, a successful New York businessman and patron of the arts who emigrated from Germany in 1912. Cohn apparently sent Einstein some matzo for Passover, and Einstein sent this brief thank you note in response. In part: "Dear Mr. Cohn. I thank you cordially fur the transmission of your splendid Mazzoth." Faint stain below signature, else fine.Auction Info
