Apollo 11 Flown American Flag Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A 6.25" x 4" silk flag with red cotton border stitching that was carried to the moon and back aboard the first manned lunar landing mission. This has a slight difference from others offered in this auction, an indication of two different manufacturers/ suppliers. The completist collector is certainly invited to bid on both the red stitching and clear stitching! Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival sleeve.
