Description
NASA "Launch Complex 39 Facilities Space Control Document" Large Book, Circa 1965 [and] 1988 Version of the Same Document [and] Vintage 16mm Aerial Film of Pad 39A & 39B. As follows. (1) An 11" x 17" book of 150 pages with cardstock covers and section dividers, bound using prong fasteners. Contains photos and detailed floorplans of all the facilities of the new LC. Sections include: Vehicle Assembly Building, High Bay Area; Vehicle Assembly Area, Low Bay Area; Launch Control Center; Miscellaneous LC-39 Facilities; LC-39, Pad A; and LC-39, Pad B. Lightly soiled and tattered covers, internally very fine. (2) Another 11" x 17" page book, titled "Facilities Space Control Document LC-39 Area August 1, 1988, consisting of 319 pages staplebound between cardstock covers. Front cover loose, otherwise very fine. (3) A 7" reel approximately 25% full of film being aerial footage of the famous pads. Not viewed, appears fine. Great research material.Auction Info
