Description

Winchester Model 94AE Gene Autry Tribute Lever-Action Carbine. Cal. .30-30 Winchester. Serial number 6260768. 20" round barrel. Receiver, cocking lever, sight hood, and barrel bands in gold. Barrel, feed tube and trigger blued. Jeweled hammer and bolt. The left side of receiver displays lavish floral designs in gold and nickel with a small inset of Autry playing his guitar. The right side of receiver features two portraits of Autry surrounded by gold and nickel scrollwork. The lower receiver is engraved "227 of 300". The walnut stock has been engraved with Autry's name and a "Singing Cowboy" vignette on either side of the stock wrist. This example appears to be in unfired condition. Accompanied by original COA from "America Remembers" identifying this rifle as #227 of an edition of 300.
