Description
Superior Grade German Double-Barrel Shotgun. 16 gauge. Serial number 23281. A beautiful German double-barrel shotgun with 28½" Krupp steel barrels with concave rib which exhibit signs of an old refinish which has obscured the original maker's mark. The shotgun weights approximately 7¾ pounds overall with an overall length of 45", a 14½" LOP to the 1" rubber recoil pad, 1¾" DAC, and 2½" DAH. The lock is ornately decorated with floral scrolls. The walnut stock is finely figured and checkered at the wrist and fore end. A silver oval escutcheon is inlayed on the lower edge of the butt. The shotgun exhibits signs of modest use and is in very good condition.Auction Info
