Description
L. C. Smith (Hunter Arms Company) Ideal Grade Double-Barrel Shotgun. 12 gauge. Serial number 153185. Features 26" London Steel blued barrels with slightly tapered concave matte rib and front and mid ivory beads. The gun's weight is about seven pounds overall with an overall length of 43¼"; a LOP to the factory buttplate of 14"; a DAC of 1¾"; and a DAH of 2½". It has a Hunter One trigger. The case-colored action is engraved with floral patterns and zig-zag borders and has a blued trigger guard. The beautiful walnut pistol-grip stock and matching fore end are finely checkered. This is a handsome shotgun, retaining most of the case-coloring on the action and 95% blue on the barrels. The bores are bright and the shotgun is in excellent condition. Careful examination of the gun leads us to believe the stock has been carefully and artfully refinished.Auction Info
