Apollo 11, et al: Superb Group of Vintage Memorabilia, More Than 100 Items. As follows.Apollo 11 Philatelic: (34) 10" x 8" NASA color litho prints, image AS11-40-5949, of Aldrin deploying the ALSEP on the moon, each bearing a 10¢ "First Man On The Moon" stamp hand cancelled on First Day of issue; (55) 8.5" x 11" NASA-published cardstock artist renderings of the crew with facsimile signatures, each bearing an "Apollo 8" 6¢ stamp and cancelled at Houston, Texas, on launch day; a moon-landing cover with Folio-Print cachet cancelled on July 20, 1969, at Cape Canaveral; a lunar orbit rendezvous cover with stamped cachet cancelled on July 21, 1969, at Cape Canaveral; and a splashdown cover with front and verso stamped cachets cancelled on July 24, 1969, at Cape Canaveral.
Apollo 11 Memorabilia: Man On The Moon LP on Yorkshire Records label; LIFE magazine dated August 8, 1969, with "On The Moon" cover headline; the Hubbard Medal presentation program dated February 16, 1970; (4) 11" x 14" original NASA color prints, includes the "Visor" photo; a 10" x 8" NASA color litho print of the crew white spacesuit photo; (15) lightweight 8" x 10" color litho prints by NASA (includes images from Apollo 8 through 11); (2) 10" x 8" original NASA photos taken at the 1978 ceremony where President Jimmy Carter awarded Neil Armstrong the Space Medal of Honor; and a 7" x 5" original photo of Neil Armstrong in 1970 at an Alexandria, Virginia, historic fire station.
Additional Material: (10) 8.5" x 11" color litho prints by Space Arts of the Apollo 17 mission, with original envelope; a "Decade of Achievement" 8¢ stamp pair First Day Cover with Artcraft cachet; (2) copies of Michael Collins' book Carrying the Fire; (6) copies of Buzz Aldrin's book Mission to Mars; a copy of Buzz Aldrin's book No Dream Too High: and (14) 8" x 10" modern silk finish color photos of the Apollo 12 crew in white spacesuits.
