He has signed in silver felt tip at top center: "By:/ Alan Bean/ Apollo 12 LMP". He has also pointed out with arrows and written explanatory comments above several features of the photo (left to right): "Apollo 11 Landing Site/ Tranquility Base", "Neil Armstrong's/ Shadow", "Buzz Aldrin", "Lunar Module/ 'Eagle'", "'Magnificent Desolation'", "Michael Collins", and "Lunar Craters".
