Description
Excellent Russian Model Model 1936 "Shvartz" Helmet. Beautiful example, nicely ink stamped on the inside back edge with the size "56", and date "41". This being a late example it is fitted with a second model stocking-type liner with corrugated band between the liner and shell, and is mounted with a third type web chinstrap with sliding adjustment buckle. The helmet retains approximately 80-85% original green paint, worn to the bare metal in spots. This is a very good example of this interesting design.Auction Info
