Description
Fired but Complete U.S. 3-Inch Hotchkiss Bolt. This fired example is in very fine condition. Despite being fired the round has kept together instead of breaking into the usual three pieces. The surface of the round shows some very light pitting but is mostly smooth. The lead sabot exhibits seven lands showing this round was fired from a 3-inch Ordnance rifle.
