Description
Belgian Model 1916 Bolt Action Military Carbine. Serial No. 26531, 7.65 x 53 caliber, 21 ½-inch barrel with standard military sights. All visible numbers matching. Receiver ring marked MANUFACTURE D'ARMES/DE L'ETAT. Blued finish, curved bolt toggle in the white. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels, one stacking swivel, bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Walnut stock with flat metal buttplate. Leather sling. Condition: Fair. Retaining approximately 40-50% of the military finish and exhibiting wear on the high spots and muzzle. Barrel shroud with one small dent. Stock with contemporary owner's name lightly scratched in and with numerous scratches, dents and a duffel cut in the stock between the two barrel bands.
