Description
Chilean Mauser Model 1895 Bolt Action Military Rifle. Serial No. K1509, 7 x 57 caliber, 28 1/2-inch barrel with standard military sights, two barrel bands, two sling swivels, bayonet lug and cleaning rod. All visible numbers matching (except cleaning rod). Chilean crest on the receiver ring with side rail marked MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895/DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN/BERLIN. Straight bolt in the white. Walnut stock with flat metal buttplate. Condition: Very good. Retaining 75-80% blue finish with some thin areas from wear, especially near the muzzle. Follower may be a replacement. Stock with scattered dents and scratches. Bright bore. SAMCO import mark under the barrel near the muzzle.Auction Info
