[Space Shuttle] First Male (Guion Bluford) and Female (Mae Jemison) African-American Astronauts in Space: "Scott Joplin" Cover Signed by Both with Color Photos in Framed Display. A philatelic cover for the 1983 first day of issue for the Scott Joplin 20ยข stamp signed in black ink: "Guion Bluford/ NASA Astronaut" and in blue ink: "Mae Jemison/ STS-47". Bluford was the first African-American in space aboard Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-8) in 1983, and flew three more missions before his retirement. Jemison flew on Space Shuttle Endeavour (STS-47) in 1992. Nicely matted with individual orange spacesuit photos and framed to an overall 12" x 15". Excellent.
