Description
Michael Collins Signed Limited Edition Thomas Smith Print in the Paul Calle Style, #7/50, in Framed Display with Mission Insignia, with Novaspace Certificate of Authenticity. A 15" x 25" (sight size) B&W giclée of Collins as he prepared for the Apollo 11 mission, signed by Collins and Smith in pencil. Double matted and framed to an overall 23" x 38" with a 4" embroidered mission insignia. This was commissioned by a collector in 2004 in order to have a match to the popular and famous Neil Armstrong artwork by Paul Calle (an Aldrin was also available in the same style- see adjacent lot). This is a perfect match to the familiar Neil Armstrong Calle piece. Included with this lot is a Certificate of Authenticity from Novaspace for the signing of this limited issue.
