Description
Atlas-Agena D Model George C. Marshall Space Flight Center Directly from the Estate of Former Space Shuttle Program Manager Bob Thompson. An incredibly rare model of the Atlas-Agena launch vehicle. The Agena was used frequently throughout the 1960's and 70's for un-crewed probe launches, and was also a component of the Gemini program. The model stands approximatley 14" high while sitting upon 3.25" square wooden base. A "George C. Marshall Space Flight Center/ Huntsville, Alabama/ Graphic Engineering and Models Division" plate is adhered to base. Features wear commensurate with age, overall fine.Auction Info
