An impressive framed display that features a 4¢ Project Mercury stamp (Scott #1193) and first day of issue cancellation. Postmarked Cape Canaveral, February 20, 1962, the day John Glenn made three orbits around the earth. The cover features adhered color cachet with images of both of Glenn's launches. It has been signed in various inks by the full crew of STS-95 (Curtis Brown, Steven Lindsey, Pedro Duque, Scott Parazynski, Stephen Robinson, Chiaki Mukai, and John Glenn). Professionally matted and framed with five pins commemorating the spaceflight career of Senator Glenn. Framed to an overall 12" x 15". An excellent opportunity to own one of these limited edition pieces owned by the man it celebrates.
