Buzz Aldrin Rocket Hero by Nike: Collection of Skateboard Sneakers, T-Shirts, and Signed Look to the Stars Book, Originally from His Personal Collection, with Certificate of Authenticity. A great collection of memorabilia for the young spaceflight fan. In 2009 Buzz Aldrin collaborated with Nike for a T-shirt using Buzz's famous Visor image in full neon-like Nike colors and a co-branded "Maverick Mid 2 Premium" Nike-Buzz Aldrin Rocket Hero skate boarding shoe. Nike used some of Buzz Aldrin's hand drawn trajectories for future Earth-Mars cycling spacecraft transit systems on the shoe's cuff and markings from the lunar surface inside the foot bed. Included here are two child size medium T-shirts. As well as a pair of size 6 shoes, still in original box.In addition to the clothing is a signed copy of Look to the Stars (New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 2009). A beautiful illustrated introduction to space exploration for young readers. First edition, first printing. Signed in blue felt tip on the title page: "Buzz Aldrin". Oblong octavo, hardbound in a dust jacket. Very fine.
